This Home Has a Secret?

This looks like an ordinary home, just like its neighbors. Well just like its neighbors with a spectacular view over the lake. They all are special in that regard. But that is where it ends. The looks are deceiving, it is much warmer and more efficient.

So what makes this house so different? It is built from Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs). SIPs have solid foam cores. Compared to the neighbor's wood stud walls whose frame is a thermal bridge providing a path for heat transfer. It is also more silent and comfortable.
